Hannibal 2001 Title Sequence - Third Year Major Project 2018

My response to my final brief '2018 Major Project' as part of the third and final year studying BA (Hons) Visual Effects and Motion Graphics at the University of South Wales.

Title: Hannibal 2001 Title Sequence

Project/Brief: Third Year Major Project 2018

Software Used: Adobe Photoshop CC 2015, Adobe After Effects CC 2015 and Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015

Synopsis:

A re-imagining of the title sequence for the 2001 sequel to 1991's The Silence of the Lambs. Hannibal.

Project Information:

This is the outcome of my third year BA Visual Effects and Motion Graphics 'Major Project 2018'.

For this particular brief I decided to create a title sequence for the 2001 sequel to 1991's The Silence of the Lambs. Hannibal. Looking to bring together the particular skills and techniques that I wish to take on into industry and to keep developing and improving upon from previous projects.

I personally made each and every aspect upon the screen in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015. This was so I could rotoscope and accurately colour each 2D illustrated motion graphic and create the needed matte paintings that were required for this piece.

The sequence highlights particular scenes/points in the film and characters/character aspects from the film.

After I had made and completed the visual aspects required for the piece in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015, I then imported the aspects into Adobe After Effects CC 2015 where I then animated and composited together every visual aspect into their final shots.

Upon completion the piece was then edited together in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 with the most suitable audio before being finally exported.
